Project Director/Chief of Party requested in NGO in health to work in the city of San Felipe de Puerto Plata.
Responsibilities
Will have overall responsibility for the coordination of all project activities and personnel as well as be responsible for the technical leadership and administrative oversight of the program and will act as the primary institutional liaison with USAID. He/She will manage a team of experienced personnel and sub-partners, in addition to ensuring the quality and efficiency of all products and activities generated under the project, including the timely completion of award milestones.
Profile and required qualifications
- MD, Master’s or higher degree in health, international development, social science, or a closely related field.
- Must have strong leadership qualities and a broad and deep technical and managerial experience, as evidenced by at least ten years of experience in the design, implementation and management of HIV projects, activities, services, in the position of Project manager, Project Operations Manager or Deputy Project Director.
- Requires strong interpersonal, written, and oral presentation skills in English and Spanish.
- Ability to implement projects with rigorous schedules and deliverables and to track program quality through USAID / PEPFAR donor-approved monitoring and evaluation systems.
- Competence in managing office packages, zoom, among others.
